Smart Plug-N-Talk
Smart Communications recently launched their new Plug-N-Talk service to work with Smart SIM cards in the Philippines and abroad. With the Smart Plug ‘N Talk you can put your Smart Buddy SIM card into a USB dongle that when plugged into your PC allows you to make phone calls and text messages as if you were in the Philippines. Load scheduling with Aryty.com may not be a new feature but its one that I have never noticed before. Now Aryty.com allows its users to schedule their load sending. Basically its like a load subscription but much more powerful. This has become an essential tool for me. I cant tell you how many times I have received an email in Tagalog that I did not completely understand. My tagalog is pretty good but living in the US has made me a bit rusty. Googles Gmail now includes a free translation service that will automatically translate your emails from Tagalog into English. If you activate the service in the Google labs section of your email account, you will then see an option to translate emails that you received in foreign languages. I have translated a few of my Tagalog emails and it works great. Give it a try in your Gmail account. Now emailing with a family, friends or even a Filipina will be much easier. Many Filipinos in the U.S. or other countries outside the Philipinnes buy a Philippine Sim cards so they have an easy way to text their loved one or Filipina.
When you buy a Smart, Globe or Sun sim card your loved one can text you for about 1 peso per text because they are sending the text to a local Philippine number. This means your Filipina can text you more often for less.
Buying a Smart Buddy sim card or Globe sim card is easy as there are several places you can buy online such as Cellular Abroad.Once you have a Philippine sim card you will need to buy load for it. You can buy eload for Smart Buddy, Globe Autoloadmax or Sun Cellular load using one of the sites we /where-to-buy-load/”>reviewed such as aryty.com.
The Smart Buddy Super Sim 3 allows you to store up to 650 numbers and up to 105 text messages. Smart also offers pasaload which means you can transfer load from your sim card to your loved one. This is another easy way to send load to the Philippines. Pasaload is well known in the Philippines.
Globe sim cards also allow you to transfer load using their Shareaload service. Shareload lets you transfer small amounts of load even if you are not in the Philippines. Originally I started to send load to the Philippines as way to help my Filipina girlfriend. Not only is load very helpful but it is a nice gift. She can use the load to text or call me from the Philippines so it makes it easy to stay in touch.
After texting my girlfriend in the Philippines I realized it was cheaper for her to text me if I had a Philippine mobile phone so I bought a Smart Buddy Sim card. Now I text her and it only cost her 1 peso per text back. This saves her money and lets her text more to me. I also use Yahoo Messenger to text message to the Philippines and it is cheap for her to text me back. It cost me a bit to use a roaming sim but I buy Smart load online using the same website I buy my Filipina’s Globe load so it’s easy.
I realized there are many things to learn about when buying Globe load or Smart load especially if you want to send load to the Philippines. All the choices like AutoloadMax, Smart Buddy, Touch Mobile and Addict Mobile make it difficult to choose which loading service to avail. This is why I started SendloadtothePhilippines.com.
